I keep waiting for AI to dazzle me with some special thing that only it can do, and thus far the only thing I can see it do is write shitty essays that do not even follow a particular stream of thought.
Palantir is run by two psychopaths, and they got to test it out as a killing machine for Israel. One of the co-founders and president of the company is a Zionist, so he is overly interested in developing more contracts with not just Israel but also the Pentagon, which it has done already.
One particular calculation that it made was that it tracked a Hamas terrorist going into a building with 500 people in it. So it decided to bomb the building and kill everyone in it, and it did exactly that. 500 innocent lives are worth one terrorist according to the current Zionist regime, which has only ever known terrorism for its entire existence.
Recently some of the purveyors of the next big thing thought maybe we need to pause and wait for some regulations from Congress. But Congress doesn't even know how social media works, much less how or what AI is, so Trump said, 'Go right ahead; no regulation needed.'
The part that is going to get rather doomsdayish is the 5 trillion hedge fund managers have in play to support the next big thing, except it's not showing that it is the next big thing. All signs point to it being the next big bust, and if your retirement is invested in this balloon, it's about to pop in the most unpleasant way.
This is what unbridled capitalism does at its putrid worst. It overlooks things like Sam Altman sexually abusing his sister for many years while having him at Davos pretending to be a mover and shaker of OpenAI, which is being funded by Microsoft to the tune of almost 500 billion, and Amazon has 2.5 trillion in contracts for AI using their machines to generate AI services, and would anyone like to take a guess how much these AI services have actually paid the people who made the actual data centers?
If you guessed nothing, you'd be correct. Sam Altman is no different from Sam Bankman Fried. He is a bullshit artist hoping to hitch his ride into the billionaire sphere while again producing nothing. Will AI be taking over the fashion industry, coming up with new and exciting designs, because it can create billions of combinations of clothes? Well, the French have something they call "accounting" for the variables in fashion, which is a multibillion-dollar industry, and thus far, AI has come up with jack squat.
The New York Times would surely rather have them an AI machine writing articles than paying their thousands of propagandists to spew their nonsense rather than paying their staff writers, but as yet, there is no AI churning out anything that can be printed in anything but academia, which has the kind of kids AI was designed for, and it is remarkable how poorly it is doing.
Also, a few busy attorneys thought they would use AI to make motions and presentations that have no basis in law because they were to busy to do it themselves, and judges read these nonsensical briefs and hauled the officers of the court into court and asked them, "What the hell is this crap"?
I, personally, do not care because I have no money in the market, but if you have a retirement plan or a Roth IRA, then your hedge fund managers have used your money to build data centers that will run your electric bill to the moon despite them producing absolutely nothing while solar panels get cheaper and cheaper.
But now that we have an absolute imbecile in the White House, then we can expect exactly nothing good coming from him, even accidentally, unless he steps out of Marine One at 10,000 feet by chance, but until then, we will see as much productivity out of AI as we have Trump.
The difference is that AI has $5 trillion in investments from hedge fund managers who do not understand the difference between software and an actual usable product. Do you want AI to order your groceries based on your previous orders? Or tuning into a show you watched on television? Because it has only shown that it can unalive numerous people, and that's about it.
It has not come up with new mathematical formulas or proven Carmichael's totient conjecture for obvious reasons. These are problems too big for even the biggest machines to calculate. Nobody knows what it will be able to do, but like a good used car salesman, they will promise you the world and deliver you a lemon without any hesitation, and that's what all of these hucksters have done. They've gotten everyone to buy because it sounds so much more awesome than it actually is.
If you are unsure about this, go play with Grok and see how utterly useless Grok is. Or go see the documentary about Musk, who himself is an outright bullshit artist, the likes of which have never been seen in all of human history. He is the illusion of competence, and that should tell you all you need to know to get your money out of this AI bubble, which is going to burst, and guess who will come running to the American people for another bailout?
It's enough to make clear-thinking people absolutely nauseous.
