He promised to “drain the swamp.”

Instead, #tRUMP fired the people whose job it is to keep us alive.

Thousands cut from the CDC. Nearly 1,000 from USDA. Thousands more from FDA. You know—the agencies responsible for tracking outbreaks, inspecting food, monitoring drug safety, and warning the public before a preventable disaster becomes a national emergency.

And what do we get?

Daily food recalls. Drug recalls. A measles outbreak at a scale this country hasn’t seen in decades. Public-health systems hollowed out while the White House fills up with loyalists, lobbyists, grifters, donors, and every swamp creature with a corporate jet and a conflict of interest.

But sure, tell us again about “government waste.”

Apparently, in trump’s America, “waste” means epidemiologists, food inspectors, scientists, and public servants. “Efficiency” means firing the people who protect your kids from contaminated food and preventable disease—then handing power to the same wealthy insiders who profit when oversight disappears.

This was never about draining the swamp. It was about draining the government of anyone who might regulate, investigate, or say no to the people buying influence.

The swamp isn’t gone. It got cabinet positions, White House access, and taxpayer-funded security.

And the consequences are not abstract. They’re on grocery shelves, in doctors’ offices, in emergency rooms, and in communities dealing with diseases we had the tools to prevent.

His corruption isn’t just embarrassing. It’s dangerous. It is literally putting lives at risk.
