Raffie — the rescued American bulldog fans affectionately knew as “Mr. One Toof” — died suddenly from a heart attack on Christmas Eve while at a doggie daycare.
His owner, Maren Peeters (known online as bundleofbullies), shared the heartbreaking news and thanked followers for their love.
Staff tried canine CPR, and another one of her dogs was taken to a vet.
Peeters says she will keep posting with her other pups to honor Raffie’s memory.

A Letter from Mr. One Tooth
To the Hearts That Broke Without
Ever Meeting Me
Hello, my beautiful strangers,
I know something about you—you cried for me, even though we never met.
You never heard my footsteps, never felt my nose on your hand… yet your heart knew me.
That kind of love doesn’t need permission.
Please don’t question your tears.
They reached me. They wrapped around me. They followed me all the way to Doggie Heaven.
I didn’t leave because I was forgotten.
I left because I was surrounded—by prayers, by kindness, by hearts that chose to care.
Up here, I can run now. I can breathe.
And yes… I still have my one tooth, and I smile with it proudly. 🌈
There is no pain here, only peace.
If your chest aches, that’s me reminding you: love never needed proximity.
If you feel changed by my passing, that’s because compassion always costs something.
Thank you for seeing me.
Thank you for mourning a dog you never touched.
The world is gentler because of people like you.
Please keep loving. Keep caring. Keep rescuing.
That is how my story continues.
With a wag that never stops,
Mr. One Tooth 🐾✨
