And somehow… that’s worse.
Meet the green vine snake — a serpent so slender it could be mistaken for a blade of grass. But don’t be fooled. This master of camouflage doesn’t chase. He waits. Perfectly still. Watching. Judging.
His eyes, forward-facing and sharp, give him the unnerving look of someone who knows your secrets. Evolution gifted him this gaze — not for drama, but for precision. With binocular vision and a tongue flicker that can detect chemical trails, he strikes not in rage… but in silence.
And though he’s mildly venomous, it’s his aura that hits harder.
Because sometimes, the deadliest creature in the forest… just watches.
