AHA!!! screams FOX. Turns out he WAS a bad guy after all! We have PROOF.

Great. So where was that proof when he was arrested? Where was that proof when he was sent to prison in El Salvador?

WHERE WAS THE TRIAL WHERE THAT EVIDENCE WAS PRESENTED?

WHERE HE WAS CONVICTED BY A COURT OF LAW?

WHERE HE WAS SENTENCED BY A JUDGE?

We have laws in this country, for ALL, and we have COURTS to weigh evidence and decide if the law has been broken, and what the penalty should be.

We have a LEGAL SYSTEM, not just for wealthy billionaires, not just for U.S. Citizens, but for ANYONE on our soil and under our juristiction.

If we didn't, any cop who didn't like YOU or ME could just execute us on the street. Oh wait. That's been done. That is why we had the BLM/George Floyd marches the last time Trump was president.

Trump knows how to play the legal system well. Thirty-four felonies and convictions for everything from sexual abuse to liable to fraud, and he is still walking around free, proudly displaying his mug shot to US citizens and foreign officials alike right at the door of the Oval Office.

But he didn't USE the legal system, the bedrock of our Constitution, when he sent OTHER people without trial, conviction, or sentence to a notorious foreign slave labor camp, where reportedly nobody leaves alive. He just ignored it completely.

Long after a Maryland father was grabbed by ICE and immediately sent to El Salvador, as a result of what the Trump regime ADMITS was a clerical error - long after the courts demanded he be returned - long after the SUPREME COURT ordered Trump to return him - NOW comes alleged evidence against Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

He was allegedly stopped for speeding a while back while using a van that was registered to another man who was convicted of trafficking adult migrants. He was not arrested.

His wife filed for a restraining order after telling police Garcia allegedly assaulted her. She did not appear for the hearing. The charges were dropped.

Those are the facts. He was never convicted of anything that warranted him to be sent to prison. Deportation, yes. But not to a prison.

As for him simply being in the country illegally, it needs to be remembered that illegal entry is not a CRIMINAL legal matter, but a CIVIL one. That is why it is so appalling hearing of tourists who are ending up being handcuffed and held in prisons for weeks.

Traffickers and Abusers ABSOLUTELY deserve to be imprisoned. I have not one shred of sympathy for either. Neither does any OTHER "bleeding heart liberal" that I happen to know.

What we are saying is that the LAW is more important than anything else in this case. Because the law not only protects HIM, it protects ME. It protects YOU.

It is all that stands between you and an ICE official who accuses you of being a foreign gang member.

It is all that stands between you and a cop that accuses you of disrespecting him.

It is all that stands between you and a rogue government that thinks it has the right to do with you as it will.

This is why so many people who were NOT Black protested the last time Trump was president. The law has to work for ALL of us, or it works for NONE of us. The law, our Constitutional Rights, must be upheld above everything else.

Especially when our Constitutional Rights are being threatened by a leader who disregards the law, due process, and even court orders, while claiming total immunity for himself.
