They told you a shadowy cabal of global elites is secretly rounding up every copper penny in America to melt them down for a dark, hidden purpose. They told you the John D. Rockefeller lookalike in the background proves this is a massive billionaire conspiracy. They told you the government is actively hiding the real reason they want to eliminate physical currency. But what if the “LIGENTY” typo in the magnifying glass is actually just a documented minting error—and the entire “elites are erasing pennies” panic is just a Telegram channel taking a boring, decades-old debate about inflation and repackaging it as a secret billionaire plot to steal your spare change? Here’s what they don’t tell you:

But what if the “LIGENTY” typo in the magnifying glass is actually just a documented minting error—and the entire “elites are erasing pennies” panic is just a Telegram channel taking a boring, decades-old debate about inflation and repackaging it as a secret billionaire plot to steal your spare change? Here’s what they don’t tell you:
April 20, 1914. Ludlow, Colorado. Coal miners working for the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company — owned by the Rockefeller family — had been on strike for months, demanding safer working conditions and fair pay. They had been evicted from company towns and were living in a massive tent colony.
The Rockefeller guards killed 21 people in a labor strike. To fix the public outrage, the modern Public Relations industry was invented. It's public record. Share this history. #Rockefeller #ManipulatedHistory #LudlowMassacre #LaborHistory #FollowTheMoney #PatternRecognition #HiddenHistory #ElitePower #UncoveredTruth #wakeup
On the morning of April 20, the Colorado National Guard and private mine guards funded by Rockefeller opened fire on the camp with machine guns. They set the tents on fire. 21 people were killed. Among the dead were two women and 11 children who had suffocated in a pit they dug beneath their tent to escape the bullets.
The public outrage was massive. John D. Rockefeller Jr. was hauled before a US federal commission and widely denounced as a murderer. The Rockefeller empire realised that raw corporate violence was now bad for business. In response to the Ludlow Massacre, Rockefeller hired Ivy Lee — the founding father of modern Public Relations.
Lee launched a massive, coordinated media campaign to rewrite the narrative. He published bulletins portraying the miners as dangerous radicals and Rockefeller as a benevolent victim of union aggression. The modern corporate PR industry was not invented to sell products. It was invented to launder the reputation of a billionaire after his private army massacred women and children.

The rich don't avoid taxes with loopholes.
They avoid them with a completely different relationship to income itself.
Most people get taxed the moment they earn a dollar. Paycheck comes in, taxes come out, and whatever's left is what you actually get to invest. W2 income gets taxed first, there's little control over timing, and deductions are limited.
Wealthy people build their financial lives around a different model entirely. Instead of earning income, they own assets. Stocks, real estate, businesses. And here's the part that changes everything. Asset growth isn't taxed until it's sold.
So instead of selling and triggering a taxable event, they borrow against what they own. Use assets as collateral, take out a low interest loan, and access cash without ever creating taxable income. No income means no income tax.
This creates a cycle. Own assets, borrow against them, use the cash flow, repeat. It's often referred to as the buy, borrow, die strategy, since assets can pass to heirs with a stepped up cost basis, avoiding the original capital gains entirely.
When they do eventually sell, they still have ways to pay less. Holding assets long term qualifies for lower capital gains rates. Losses can offset gains. Business deductions reduce the taxable picture further.
The tax code was built to encourage investment, and this is what that incentive looks like in practice. It's worth saying though, this is also one of the more debated parts of the tax system.
Supporters say it's simply how investment gets rewarded. Critics argue it lets the wealthiest households build enormous fortunes while paying a smaller effective tax rate than people earning regular paychecks.
Either way, the mechanics are the same. If you earn income, you pay more in taxes. If you own assets, you control when and how you're taxed.

Microsoft has a setting that could make you rethink what “private” actually means for your Word documents.
Most people assume that if a document is sitting on their computer or in their personal OneDrive, it’s completely private.
But Microsoft has connected experiences that can process content to power things like AI features, recommendations and other services.
And honestly, most people probably have no idea any of this is happening.
If you want to check what’s turned on, open Word or Excel and go to:
Account Settings → Account Privacy → Manage Settings
Then look for Connected Experiences and review the optional settings.
You can turn off the ones you don’t actually need.
Because think about what’s sitting inside your documents.
Work stuff.
Personal notes.
Financial information.
Passwords.
Business ideas.
Things you probably never intended to share with anyone.
And this is the part I think people are going to have an opinion about:
If you didn’t know Microsoft could process content through these connected features, would you want that turned off?
I’m genuinely curious.
Did you already know about this, or did you assume your Word documents were completely private?

“Fraud” is a word that Trump uses all the time. According to Trump, there was “massive voter fraud” due to “millions of illegal aliens voting in the 2020 election.” Trump has repeatedly asserted that the evidence for this fraud is “overwhelming.”
And yet, not one single indictment has ever come as a result of this supposedly “massive voter fraud” by “millions of illegal aliens.” Not one. ICE hasn’t arrested anyone fitting that description. And with millions of illegal alien “vote cheaters” to choose from you would think they would have no problem meeting their 2000 a day arrest quota.
DOGE was created specifically to eliminate “waste, fraud and abuse.” Trump and Elon Musk claimed they found massive amounts of fraud inside the federal government. They claimed they could prove it. In the end what happened was Musk murdered nearly a million children in Africa and destroyed the careers of tens of thousands of public servants, all with Trump’s blessing.
But no indictments for fraud ever came of it.
According to Trump, the “Biden crime family” committed “massive financial fraud” while Joe Biden was in office. Again, the evidence wasn’t just “overwhelming” it was “obvious,” according to Trump.
No indictments followed. Meanwhile the Trump crime family continues to commit massive financial fraud to the tune of billions of dollars — right out in the open.
You get the idea. For Trump, fraud is a tool of propaganda that he overuses to create a narrative of paranoia, to distract from the fraud he commits himself every day. He just makes bullshit up. Trump knows it’s bullshit.
We are going to hear the word “fraud” used many times in the coming weeks, spewed by the ugly orange mouth of Trump twisted with indignation-signalling rage, before, during and after the midterm elections. Trump will continue to claim that the opinion polls are full of fraud, that mail-in voting is full of fraud, that every election that doesn’t go his way is full of fraud.
There will be dozens, even thousands of claims of fraud, but there will never be any indictments. No indictments of any individuals for any of this alleged fraud.
Because it doesn’t exist. Because it’s a lie. Trump knows it, every member of his cabinet knows it, every Republican senator and member of the House of Representative knows it. It’s all lies.
It’s doubtful that any reporters will ask the obvious question: When are all of these fraudsters going to be hauled into court? But if even one of the molluscs in the White House press pool should find the courage to ask that question, Trump will tell them it’s going to happen soon. Or in two weeks. The question will probably never be asked again.
Trump won’t have anyone indicted because indictments require evidence. Look at what happened when they tried indicting Olympian David Hearn. Besides, he won’t have to. It’s all a pretext for stealing the election.
When Trump lost the 2020 election (you heard me right, MAGA, Trump LOST the 2020 election), he ordered his then attorney general William Barr to order the FBI to seize voting machines in the precincts where he lost. Barr refused. Barr knew perfectly well that the 2020 election was free and fair and that Trump lost. He said as much publicly at the time.
Trump has no such impediment this time. This time there are no William Barrs, no John Kellys, no Mike Pences and no general Mark Milleys in this Trump administration. There are only criminals. Todd Blanche is an arch criminal with an ethical bypass who will do anything Trump tells him to do. Much of the fraud Blanche will think up himself.
This time, if (or more precisely when) Trump orders Todd Blanche to seize voting machines, voting machines will be seized. Trump will alter them. The vote will suddenly, magically come out the way Trump wants it to come out. It will be an obvious lie, just as obvious as his attempt to alter a hurricane map to cover for his mistake with a sharpie was an actual lie. But he will do it anyway.
It is said that Trump cannot invoke the Insurrection Act to stop the midterm elections. It is said that in order to do so certain conditions must apply and those conditions will not apply.
Excuse me? It is also said that Trump can’t declare war on a country by himself. It is also said that Trump cannot tear down any part of the White House without authorisation from Congress. It is also said that Trump cannot receive a $400 million luxury 747-8 jet plane from the dictator of Qatar.
Please.
If Trump decides to invoke the Insurrection Act, then Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act. Period.
This is, after all, a man who invoked an actual insurrection, an act of treason against his own nation, an act that Constitutionally disqualified him from ever holding public office. He has since illegally become president of the United States. The rules we so desperately cling to don’t exist for Trump.
Sisters and brothers, we need to be realistic. We need to remember all of the things that this colossal piece of shit has done in the past and tried to do and learn from it once and for all. We need to stop pretending that Constitutional and legal guardrails have any meaning with this festering turd pretending to be a human being.
What can we do? The only thing we can do. Vote in record numbers. Vote in crowds so huge they cannot be ignored. We must vote uniformly and for every single Democrat no matter what we may think of them, no matter how utterly they fail our own particular purity test.
We shouldn’t give a shit if they are socialist or dead centre Corporate Democrat. We should drag every friend we have to the polls with us and make damned sure they vote too.
I’m talking to every Democrat who stayed home in 2024. The full one third of Democratic voters who could have crushed Trump so completely that he would have been out of office for the rest of his miserable life. Shame on you for not voting.
I’m talking to every pompous moron who voted for a third-party candidate who didn’t have a chance in hell of winning. Shame on you for throwing away your mandate so this shit-stain disguised as a man could take our lives away from us.
If we don’t unify, we will lose democracy for all time. Stop crossing your fingers and hoping Trump won’t do what you know perfectly well he will do!
If we show up to the polls in those kinds of numbers, it might scare Trump away from doing some of the more extreme things he has in mind.
It might not work. Or maybe it will. But we no longer have the luxury of guessing. We goddamned better well do it.
