Brings to mind... Granny Weatherwax is a fictional witch from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, known for her powerful, practical magic and a strong moral code. She is a formidable and often cantankerous character who uses "headology" (practical psychology) and sheer willpower to protect her home of Lancre, rather than relying on traditional spells. She is a complex character who is good but not necessarily nice, and she is a central figure in many of the Discworld novels.

The endless change of the seasons, Maple and Birch trees with bark silver bright and Maple with leaves of gold and red give me a feeling of reverence, and as I listen to the rain fall, I whisper to myself,  "All is right, it's as it's meant to be."

Visited my grandparent's home, the new orchard is beautiful. The walnuts have been harvested, and a new crop is growing. I don't visit often. They are both gone, and the new owners are doing well. The memories are what I come for every few years. This will be my last visit. I am reassured all continues and all is well.

Travel light, see things that are below as well as                                         above . . .

Death does not know prejudice.
